Amy Wheeler here. I was born to the daughter of a grocery store-owning mayor and the son of a passionate woodworking gardener. I grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, providing me with hot summers, fried okra, and an appreciation for those that came before us. With my two loving siblings, I learned the value of hard work, good food, family, and giving to one’s community.
Though I never literally learned how to dive, I continue to go head first into deep waters. Atlanta. North Carolina. Scotland. Boston. Portland. I can usually be found wearing my favorite hoodie from the sixth grade, laughing and enjoying a delicious meal with friends around a big table.
